Pinch bench with 3 seating modules is a contemporary urban bench designed according to the principles of Inclusive Design. Its unique, organically curved form ensures maximum accessibility and comfort for all users, regardless of their physical abilities. Thanks to its 360° usage concept, the bench becomes not only a resting place but also a distinctive urban element acting as a small “island” in public space.

The name of the PINCH collection comes from the idea of “pinching” the classic rectangular bench structure in the centre, creating an expressive geometry with naturally formed open and enclosed spaces. This form creates a clear visual identity while allowing people with reduced mobility to comfortably and independently use the bench together with other visitors.

The bench structure is made of robust laser-cut galvanized steel, ensuring durability, stability and resistance to intensive use in public spaces. The internal structure is additionally reinforced with galvanized steel profiles and adjustable supports, allowing precise levelling during installation. The seating surface is made of high-quality shaped Okoumé wood profiles, offering resistance to environmental conditions and a natural, aesthetic appearance.

The bench features soft, fluid lines and a clean, welcoming design that easily adapts to various urban environments – both outdoor public areas and indoor architectural solutions. It fits perfectly into modern projects, historical contexts, public squares, parks, pedestrian zones, business centres, university campuses or residential areas.

An integrated USB charging socket with a protective cover allows convenient charging of mobile devices directly in public space. All electronic components are safely integrated into an internal compartment protected from environmental influences. Upon request, the bench can also be equipped with a Wireless (Qi) charging module, providing even greater user convenience.

Additionally, the bench can be equipped with a flower planter module made of galvanized steel, allowing public spaces to be enriched with plants, flowers or decorative greenery, adding more life and aesthetic value to the environment.

Technical features

• Easy installation: the bench is supplied as a kit with stainless steel fasteners and clear installation instructions.

Optional features

Upon request, the module can be equipped with a WIRELESS (Qi) charging system, providing additional functionality.

Customization and environmental resistance

To adapt to different aesthetic requirements, the bench is standardly finished in RAL 7001 (Silver Grey) for steel parts. Custom colours and finishes are also available upon request, allowing perfect integration into any architectural project or environment. The structure is coated with thermosetting powder coatings, ensuring high resistance to atmospheric conditions and long service life.

Wood:

• Okoume is a lightweight and durable tropical wood originating from African regions. It features a uniform, fine texture, a light pink to yellowish-brown color, and minimal knotting, giving it a modern and aesthetic appearance. Due to its good stability, flexibility, and low weight, Okoume is widely used in the production of street and urban furniture such as benches, tables, playground equipment, as well as yacht decks and shipbuilding. It is also commonly used for high-quality plywood, furniture, facades, and outdoor equipment. Okoume is easy to process and well suited for milling, gluing, and painting, making it highly valued by architects, designers, and manufacturers.
• The products are impregnated with oil 3 times or lacquered and prepared for outdoor use. Colors: Available color variants from the manufacturer.

Metal:

• Galvanized steel. Painted metal (RAL colors from the manufacturer’s provided variants).
• The metal is primed with an anti-corrosive zinc primer and coated with powder paint suitable for outdoor conditions (colors can be chosen from the manufacturer’s RAL palette).

Bolts:

• Bolts and connecting details are made from galvanized steel.

Installation / Mounting:

• Small architecture products: metal benches, loungers, stands, bike racks, trash bins, etc., are either concreted into the ground or anchored to a solid base.
• Freestanding on a solid surface.
