Nino il Pesciolino is more than an ordinary outdoor waste bin. It is an educational, playful, and functional urban design solution created to help children learn proper waste management from an early age. The friendly fish design and soft, rounded shapes turn everyday waste disposal into a fun activity and help develop environmental awareness in a natural, child-friendly way.

Creative and functional design

The Nino il Pesciolino waste bin is made of durable galvanized steel, and its body is shaped to resemble a small fish. Laser-engraved elements recreate fin shapes, while stylized eyes and fins on the upper part attract children’s attention and encourage active engagement. The “fish mouth” located on the front is designed to make waste disposal easy and convenient for children.

The front door includes an internal bag-holding ring that simplifies waste collection and emptying, while the lockable system ensures safe, reliable, and quick maintenance. The raised structure prevents direct contact with the ground and facilitates rainwater drainage, contributing to the product’s long-term durability.

The Nino il Pesciolino waste bin is designed with children’s height, movements, and safety needs in mind. Ergonomic dimensions, rounded shapes, and a stable base ensure comfortable and safe daily use. Colors, customization, and quality

The standard finish of Nino il Pesciolino is the playful “matt light blue” (RAL 5012), but any color from the full RAL palette can be selected. The structure is coated with thermosetting powders and oven-baked, ensuring high resistance to weather conditions, UV radiation, and mechanical wear.

Metal:

• Galvanized steel. Painted metal (RAL colors from the manufacturer’s provided variants).
• The metal is primed with an anti-corrosive zinc primer and coated with powder paint suitable for outdoor conditions (colors can be chosen from the manufacturer’s RAL palette).

Bolts:

• Bolts and connecting details are made from galvanized steel.

Installation / Mounting:

• Small architecture products: metal benches, loungers, stands, bike racks, trash bins, etc., are either concreted into the ground or anchored to a solid base.
• Freestanding on a solid surface.
