Librichina Bench is a high-quality, uniquely designed playground bench created to make public spaces for children not only safe but also inspiring. This metal bench with a backrest, resembling an open book, stimulates children’s imagination, creativity, and invites them into a world of play, rest, and social interaction.

Inspired by the colorful pages of books, the Librichina Bench is ideal for playgrounds, school and kindergarten yards, parks, public green spaces, library outdoor areas, cultural and leisure centers, and other environments dedicated to children. It is more than just a seating furniture piece – it is a space for play, meetings, discovery, and creative activities, seamlessly integrating into modern public space designs and supporting children’s social skills and cooperation development.

Children’s safety and comfort were the main priorities in designing this bench, which is why the Librichina Bench is made of reliable, durable materials that meet the high standards required for public spaces and intensive use. The frame and internal structure are made of galvanized steel square profiles, ensuring stability, resistance to loads, and long-term durability. The seat and backrest are made of galvanized steel sheets, precisely laser-cut to create stylized “pages” of an open book.

For additional safety, the bench includes a special base frame, allowing it to be securely anchored to the ground, which is especially important in heavily used public spaces. The entire metal structure is coated with thermosetting powder, baked in an oven, making the bench resistant to moisture, UV rays, temperature changes, and mechanical impact, while keeping the colors bright and attractive for a long time.

The standard finish of the Librichina Bench includes a purple-red outer “cover” in RAL 3004 and a light ivory seat and backrest module in RAL 1015, both matte. According to individual project requirements, the bench can be personalized by choosing colors from the entire RAL palette so that it harmoniously fits into any environment, matches the architectural identity, or complements other outdoor furniture.

These products are perfect for use outdoors and indoors, for public and private projects, parks, city squares, interior or exterior areas of shopping malls, café terraces, private properties, fast food restaurants, leisure centers, recreational areas, schools, kindergartens, etc.

Wood:

• Iroko, exotic hardwood. Iroko wood is one of the most popular and durable wood types, which, when selected properly, ensures impeccable aesthetics and resistance to changing climatic conditions. The Iroko wood used in urban furniture is a tropical hardwood, highly resistant to temperature fluctuations, moisture, and winter cold.
• Hardwood, lacquered wood (e.g., Brazilian oak, Tauari/Lati) – for indoor use only. It is an exotic, strong, and aesthetically pleasing wood, ideal for furniture production. Its color ranges from light yellow to medium brown, and the usually straight grain gives furniture a natural sense of “life.” The wood density is ~650–680 kg/m³, it is stable, easy to work with, bonds well, and can be lacquered. Lacquering enhances the color and grain while protecting from dust and moisture. Exotic hardwood adds prestige, durability, and uniqueness to furniture, making it perfect for indoor spaces requiring high quality and aesthetics. This wood combines elegance, functionality, and longevity, valued in both classic and modern furniture production.
• The products are impregnated with oil 3 times or lacquered and prepared for outdoor use. Colors: Available color variants from the manufacturer.
• The thickness of the wooden slats: 3-4 cm and more.

Metal:

• Metal – cast iron
• Corten steel
• Stainless steel AISI 304
• Galvanized steel. Painted metal (RAL colors from the manufacturer’s provided variants).
• The metal is primed with an anti-corrosive zinc primer and coated with powder paint suitable for outdoor conditions (colors can be chosen from the manufacturer’s RAL palette).

Bolts:

• Bolts and connecting details are made from galvanized steel.

Installation / Mounting:

• Small architecture products: metal benches, loungers, stands, bike racks, trash bins, etc., are either concreted into the ground or anchored to a solid base.
• Freestanding on a solid surface.
