The “Climbslide 6.8” outdoor bench-sculpture from the Smartcity® collection is a unique combination of a public-space bench and a sculptural form. Design

All Smartcity® collection objects are based on the double-helix form – the DNA structure common to all living beings. This organic, dynamic shape brings energy, harmonises the surroundings, and naturally encourages social interaction. “Climbslide 6.8” functions as a spatial experience inviting movement, exploration, relaxation, and discovery.

Material

The product is made from 100% ecological and durable Accoya® FSC-certified wood, known for its long lifespan and excellent resistance to environmental factors.
The wood is designed for continuous outdoor use, with a minimum durability of 25 years.
The “Climbslide 6.8” structure requires minimal maintenance, is vandal-resistant, and is enhanced with a CerPlus® P101 protective coating providing antibacterial and UV protection while maintaining its appearance over time.

Safety

All Smartcity® products, including “Climbslide 6.8”, are manufactured according to the European playground safety standard EN 1176, ensuring safety and reliability for both children and adults.

Technical Data

The “Climbslide 6.8” is installed on 5 foundations, with an estimated installation time of 4 people × 4 hours.
Installation requires a crane, and the integrated table adds extra functionality and convenience.
A steel support structure is available for the free-standing version.
The manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty for wooden elements and a 2-year warranty for moving parts.
