BS-157 is a monolithic HPC Terrazzo concrete bench designed for contemporary urban and landscape environments. Clean geometry, balanced proportions and the natural texture of stone create a refined architectural object that does not overpower its surroundings, but brings structure, rhythm and visual coherence to the space.

Its character comes not from additional decorative elements, but from the material and form themselves. The minimalist expression allows BS-157 to integrate naturally into both contemporary architecture and carefully designed landscape settings.

Architecture in Its Purest Form

The design of BS-157 is based on the classic concrete bench, refined to its essential lines. Its monolithic construction gives the product a strong visual presence, while the restrained geometry allows architecture, paving, vegetation and the surrounding public space to remain at the centre of the composition.

HPC Terrazzo – Concrete with the Character of Natural Stone

The bench is made from fibre-reinforced High Performance Concrete (HPC) with natural marble or granite aggregates. The stone aggregate is integrated into the concrete mass itself, giving the BS-157 surface the authentic material expression and distinctive character of Terrazzo.

Different concrete shades and combinations of marble or granite aggregates allow the bench to be coordinated with the project’s material palette – from paving and façades to natural stone, metal and landscaping.

A Surface That Reveals the Material

All concrete surfaces are ground and polished to reveal the natural structure of the marble or granite aggregates. An additional protective lacquer helps reduce dirt accumulation and protects the surface from weather exposure.

The result is a clean, unified architectural surface where concrete and natural stone become the defining aesthetic of the product.

HPC Terrazzo

Natural marble or granite aggregate in a 2–5 mm fraction is integrated directly into the concrete mass during production. It is not a decorative layer applied to the surface – finishing the concrete reveals the natural stone structure, giving the surface its individual character.

Surface Finish

• Polished Terrazzo – ground and polished surface that highlights the natural marble or granite structure.
• Exposed Aggregate – textured surface with exposed natural stone aggregate.

The concrete surface is additionally treated with a hydrophobic protection system and protective lacquer to reduce water absorption and dirt accumulation and to help protect the surface from weather exposure.

Depending on the selected finish, a “Wet Look” effect is available. Surface finish options depend on the specific product model.

Fixing / Installation

Depending on the product model and project requirements, the following installation methods may be used:

• Anchored to a prepared solid substrate
• Embedded in concrete foundations in the ground
• Free-standing installation on a suitably prepared solid surface

The specific installation method is selected according to the product construction, weight, substrate and technical requirements of the project.
