NATUR Acqua – technical aesthetics with a touch of sustainability

NATUR Acqua combines the strength of VS5® technical paving (preventing displacement on all 5 faces of the slab) with the filtering, pollutant‑retaining and environmental protection properties of SUDS (Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems). It is a solution where paving is not only a functional surface, but also an active part of urban ecology.

Structure and operating principles

• 1.5 cm joints between slabs allow high water permeability, which helps restore or maintain the natural water cycle.

• Filtration and pollutant retention – the joints effectively trap contaminants and allow surface water runoff to be cleaned of harmful substances.

• Prevents overloading of the sewer system – water drains through the pavement, reducing flood risk.

Environmental impact

• Surface temperature is regulated – reduced urban heat island effect.

• Improved microclimate and air quality: the photocatalytic surface helps to break down airborne pollutants.
