Losantilla® Green is a modern and ecological paving surface designed according to Sustainable Urban Drainage Systems (SUDS) principles. This permeable concrete tile system not only effectively channels surface rainwater but also helps preserve a natural greenery aesthetic in urban spaces. It breathes — allowing water to infiltrate into the ground instead of running off the surface, thereby reducing flood risk and stress on drainage networks.

Structure and principles of operation

• The system consists of 5 cm wide green strips that accommodate grass or other vegetation, combined with 8 cm wide durable concrete strips that provide structural stability.

• Once vegetation takes root and interlinks with the concrete strips and base, the surface behaves as a unified system—capable of bearing loads, including light vehicles.

• Water infiltration: the design allows rainwater to permeate into the soil (or be temporarily held within a permeable sub‑layer), thereby reducing surface runoff and flood risk.

• Erosion control: the combination of green strips and concrete protects soil from washout, while the pavement remains stable under intensive use.
