Four sliding routes, bridges and different play levels – a playground complex designed for active adventures

Oxi Line XOXI404 is a professional outdoor children’s playground complex where platforms at different heights, ramps, four sliding options, a rope bridge and a curved tube bridge create a varied movement route. Children can change direction, move between different parts of the complex, challenge their balance, slide and create their own play scenarios.

Three play heights and four sliding options

XOXI404 features one ramp at a height of 84 cm and two ramps at 144 cm, connecting different areas of the complex. These are complemented by one open polyethylene slide at 84 cm and two open polyethylene slides at 144 cm. An additional curved tube slide at a height of 168 cm with rotationally moulded polyethylene elements adds even more variety. Four different sliding routes allow children to choose how they want to continue their play and move through the complex.

Two different bridges – more balance and movement challenges

Different parts of XOXI404 are connected by a curved tube bridge with rotationally moulded polyethylene elements and a rope bridge made with 16 mm twisted ropes covered in polypropylene. The different bridge constructions make movement between the platforms more varied and provide additional opportunities to challenge balance and coordination.

Interactive play between active routes

The active movement elements are complemented by a polyethylene noughts and crosses activity panel with revolving spheres. It provides an opportunity to change the pace of play and introduces elements of social and logical play. The complex also features 19 mm thick polyethylene benches with bevelled edges, providing areas for calmer moments within the play environment.

EN AW-6060 aluminium construction and 100% recyclable polyethylene

The main structural supports of XOXI404 are made of EN AW-6060 aluminium profiles with a cross-section of 9 × 9 cm. The 112 × 112 cm platforms are made of rotationally moulded polyethylene and feature aluminium frames. The complex includes three four-pitched roofs made of rotationally moulded polyethylene, while the parapets, ramps, open slides and various other elements are also manufactured from rotationally moulded polyethylene. The polyethylene used is 100% recyclable.

Playground equipment for architects and designers

XOXI404 is 741 cm long, 760 cm wide and 369 cm high. The fall heights are 84, 144 and 168 cm, while the required safety area is 1090 × 1167 cm. These parameters make it possible to accurately assess the position of the complex within a site, the required safety space and its integration into the overall playground design. XOXI404 can be incorporated into projects for parks, schools, kindergartens, residential developments, hotels, resorts and other public or private outdoor spaces.
