When a playground is designed to encourage children to move, explore, choose different routes and continuously discover new activities, it is not only the variety of play functions that matters, but also how they are connected.
Oxi Line XOXI307 is a professional outdoor playground complex for children aged 3 and over, featuring two different types of bridges connecting multiple play areas. The EN AW-6060 aluminium structure is combined with rotationally moulded polyethylene elements, platforms at different heights, access ramps and three sliding options.
The complex includes two open slides, an enclosed tube slide, a curved tube bridge, a rope bridge, an interactive noughts and crosses panel, and several play and rest areas. Thanks to its wide range of functions, this model can become a central feature of a larger children’s playground.
Two play heights and three sliding options
Play areas at different heights allow children to move through the complex along various routes and choose between different activities.
The complex features ramps at heights of 84 and 144 cm, together with two open rotationally moulded polyethylene slides starting at 84 and 144 cm.
A third sliding option is provided by the enclosed tube slide, starting at a height of 144 cm. It has a diameter of 80 cm and incorporates rotationally moulded polyethylene elements.
This combination creates different opportunities for movement and active play for children aged 3 and over.
Two different bridges – more ways to explore
One of the most distinctive features of XOXI307 is its two different bridge structures, connecting separate play areas.
The curved tube bridge with polyethylene elements creates a more enclosed and visually distinctive passage between different parts of the complex.
It is complemented by a bridge made from 16 mm twisted rope with aluminium handrails. The rope structure provides a different movement experience and turns the transition between platforms into an additional play activity.
Together, the bridges, ramps and platforms create one continuous play journey, giving children different ways to move through and explore the complex.
Interactive play and rest areas
Active play functions are complemented by a polyethylene noughts and crosses activity panel with revolving elements.
It allows children to alternate active movement with quieter interactive play and adds another opportunity for social play within the complex.
The structure also includes 19 mm thick polyethylene benches with bevelled edges, integrated into the overall playground design.
Aluminium construction and 100% recyclable polyethylene
The main structural posts are manufactured from EN AW-6060 aluminium profiles with a cross-section of 9 × 9 cm.
The 112 × 112 cm platforms are made from rotationally moulded polyethylene and mounted on aluminium frames. Polyethylene is also used for the ramps, protective parapets, slides, activity panel and other functional elements.
The complex features three four-pitched roofs made from rotationally moulded polyethylene, visually defining the different play areas and giving the large structure a coherent architectural character.
The polyethylene used is 100% recyclable, while a galvanised bolt kit is supplied for assembly.
Playground equipment for architects and designers
XOXI307 is a large-format children’s playground complex, so site planning should take into account both the dimensions of the equipment itself and the complete required safety area.
The complex measures 704 cm in length and 693 cm in width, with an overall height of 344 cm. The specified fall heights are 84 / 144 cm, while the required safety area measures 1104 × 1043 cm.
These technical parameters help architects, landscape architects and playground designers integrate the equipment accurately into the overall site plan and coordinate it with pathways, landscaping, seating areas, street furniture and other playground equipment.
With its interconnected play areas, bridges and slides, the complex is suitable for children’s playgrounds in parks, kindergartens, schools, residential developments, hotels, holiday resorts and other public spaces.
Complies with EN 1176 requirements
The children’s playground complex complies with EN 1176 requirements applicable to playground equipment.
