Children’s Playground Complex “Oxi Line XOXI304” – for Children Aged 3+

When a playground is designed to offer more than a single activity, a complete route of movement, exploration and play can create a much richer experience. Different play heights, a rope bridge, slides, interactive panels and additional play elements allow children to move through the structure and continuously discover new activities.

Oxi Line XOXI304 is a professional outdoor playground complex for children aged 3 and over, distinguished by its impressive 13.51 m length and wide variety of play functions. The EN AW-6060 aluminium structure is combined with rotationally moulded polyethylene elements, a rope bridge and play zones at different heights.

The complex features two open slides, an enclosed tube slide, a rope bridge, interactive activity panels, clock and bell tower elements, and an access ramp. Thanks to its size and variety of activities, this model can become the main attraction of a larger children’s playground.

Different play heights and three sliding options

The complex is designed to encourage children to move between different play zones and choose their own routes through the structure.
Two open rotationally moulded polyethylene slides provide descents from heights of 84 and 144 cm.
A completely different sliding experience is provided by the enclosed tube slide, starting at a height of 144 cm. It has a diameter of 80 cm and incorporates rotationally moulded polyethylene elements.
Different platform levels and fall heights of 84 / 120 / 144 cm create a dynamic play structure where movement is not limited to a single direction.

Rope bridge – more movement and challenge

Different parts of the complex are connected by a bridge made from 16 mm twisted rope with aluminium handrails.
The rope bridge adds another type of movement and creates a more engaging transition between different sections of the playground complex. For children, it becomes not only a way to reach another play area but also a play challenge in its own right.
This helps the entire structure function as one continuous play journey rather than a collection of separate activities.

Interactive panels, clock and bell tower

Active play is complemented by interactive polyethylene activity panels.
The complex includes a noughts and crosses activity panel and a number activity panel with revolving elements. These provide opportunities for children to change the pace of play and engage in quieter, interactive activities.
Additional imaginative play opportunities are created by polyethylene clock elements with a bell tower, adding a distinctive visual and thematic feature to the structure.
The complex also includes a 19 mm thick polyethylene bench with bevelled edges.

Access ramp – an additional way into the play structure

One of the distinctive features of XOXI304 is the polyethylene pushchair access ramp with an aluminium frame.
The ramp provides an additional route into the playground complex and expands the possible ways of moving through the structure.

Aluminium construction and 100% recyclable polyethylene

The main structural posts are manufactured from EN AW-6060 aluminium profiles with a cross-section of 9 × 9 cm.
The 112 × 112 cm platforms are made from rotationally moulded polyethylene and mounted on aluminium frames. Polyethylene is also used for the protective parapets, slides, interactive panels and other functional components.
Two four-pitched roofs made from rotationally moulded polyethylene add a distinctive architectural feature and visually define different play areas within the large structure.
The polyethylene used in the complex is 100% recyclable.

Playground equipment for architects and designers

XOXI304 is a large-format playground complex, so the design process should take into account not only the dimensions of the equipment itself but also the complete required safety area.
The complex measures 1351 cm (13.51 m) in length and 581 cm in width, with an overall height of 444 cm. The specified fall heights are 84 / 120 / 144 cm, while the required safety area measures 1700 × 981 cm.
